President Muhammadu Buhari has noted that the ongoing preparations by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) towards the general election have really impressed him. Garba Shehu, special adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, noted that Buhari made the remark while addressing a meeting with the European Union Observer Mission (EOM) to Nigeria, at the state house, Abuja. Buhari said he was hopeful that the commission would deliver a good job, free of any hitch, adding that the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu briefed the council of the state about the commission’s plans.
